- Obituary:
Robert Knowlen Cloud age 68, of Seven Lakes, NC, died Wednesday May 28, 2008, at Penick Village Nursing Center, Southern Pines.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Kingston, Ohio.
Mr. Cloud was born on November 11, 1939 in Skowhegan, ME to the late Samuel Morrison and Marie Elizabeth (Perkins) Cloud. He was a professional scouter with the Boy Scouts of America. For 32 years He was a member of the Exchange Club, Jaycees, Rotary Club, Kiwanis, and a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Sharon Ann (Riley) Cloud of Seven Lakes, NC. Three sons, Jeffrey John Cloud of Pinehurst, Gregory Alan Cloud of Dunn, Douglas Paul Cloud and wife Molly of Willow Springs; two daughters, Bobbi Ann Wolfe and husband Chris of Dallas, TX, and Deborah C. Peedin and husband Steven R. of Cary, NC; one granddaughter Joanna Marie Casto of New York, NY; and one sister, Sue Ann Kerns of Lancaster, OH. Mr. Cloud was preceded in death by a son Samuel Joseph Cloud.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Greater Western Reserve Council, Campership Endowment Fund, Boy Scouts of America, 4930 Enterprise Blvd, N.W., Warren, Ohio 44481.
