Notes	Obituary: Death of Mrs. Edge Mrs. W. L. Edge, wife of W. L. Edge, president of the Farmers' Union of Brazos county, died at the family home eight miles north of this city, Friday morning at 7 o'clock. The death of this estimable lady came as a sad surprise to the many friends of the family in this section. She had been ill for some time, but her condition did not seem to be serious, or warrant apprehension on the part of her freinds. Members of the family living at a distance have been communicated with and if all arrive the funeral will occur Sunday morning with interment at Old Tryon church yard. Surviving deceased besides her husband, are eight children, four sons and four daughters; Mr. W. H. Edge of Beaumont, Mr. J. S. Edge of Abilene, Mr. Monroe Edge and Mr. George Edge of this city. The daughters are, Mrs. Drummond of Ablilene, Mrs. Dr. Drummond of Harris School house community, and Misses Della and Ella Edge, who reside with their parents at the family home. Expressions of sincere regret were heard on all sides here when knowledge of Mrs. Edge's death was generally disseminated Friday, and the profound sympathy of the entire community is with the afflicted family in this great loss which has come to them. A phone message fron the Edge home at Harris schoolhouse to the Eagle last night advises that the funeral will occur Sunday morning at 10 o'clock. The Bryan Morning Eagle, Sat., Oct. 10, 1908
